My DramaFever Complaint

As a consumer, we like to receive exactly what it is we paid for, right?  Especially when it comes to having subscriptions to magazines or online media that are paid for either in advance for a year or whatever time that we choose to purchase.  And when our subscription goes wrong, you know that you take on a whole other attitude, right?

So here is my example of my attitude one beautiful day:

Okay, okay. . .so if you don't know, I am a huge Korean soap opera watcher!! I pay for a monthly membership on DramaFever. To watch it by either by my Kindle fire, desktop, laptop and/or tablet. I have got to have it more than me having to buy shoes. (Side bar: I am simply not a shopper that! When I see it then I will buy it!)

So, one day I came home from work and while I am settling down, of course, I do what most of us do, turn the news to see what happen today and what the weather will be like the next day.  Follow by Access Hollywood and depending on what day of the week it is most of us will turn the channel to find our favorite program. Look here, if “The Bang Theory” or “Empire” is not showing than there is no need to keep the television on.

Alright, so I turned on my desktop, got the Google chrome going, got DramaFever on the screen and now I am waiting for “The Return of Superman” to give the latest episode. (Sidebar: this Superman does not involve Clark Kent but little kids being bad at their cuteness!) I am 10 minutes into the show when a commercial comes on. I was like the what the Lee Mi Yoo is happening? I just knew that I had already paid my subscription and the next payment was not due for another week.

So, like any other angry consumer, what do you do? You either write or call to give them your complain, right?  Well, an angry me wrote a comment to whom it may concern and mine went like this to DramaFever:

I paid for my monthly subscription last month and I know that I have a week or two left before that next paid is due.  But today (5/2/2017) I am seeing commercials when I shouldn't.  What in the Kim Joon Young is going on?  Yes, today I had to again select my plan and I will be making sure that y'all are taking my payments.  Please do not make me pull a T.O.P. on y'all billing department. NO MORE COMMERICALS!! when y'all have a payment.

I was filled with emotions when I wrote it. COMMERCIALS!! The nerd of them!

But y’all after I got the auto reply that you get went send them a comment on their website and it goes to your email and I read it for myself. I was like they are going to think that I am fell off my damn rocking chair. I had to laugh at my own damn self! I can only image what they were thinking as they were reading my comment to them.  “This crazy lady here!!”

I am so grateful that DramaFever responded back in a timely matter with an answer to why I got commercials.  It was time to pay again. I really do need to pay more attention about how I balanced my check book when it comes to paying for online subscriptions.

Bottom line if that I really should catch myself before writing or calling with a complain. Except with Spectrum Cable, I really need to go upside their damn heads with some customer service acknowledge.

Breaking the Cycle!

As a parent we always want the best for our child(ren)., and we start with educating them on things that we think that would be best for them to know as they grow up.  I was still a teenager when I became pregnant with my only child, Nicolas.  Did I wanted a child at that time?  No I didn't and it was my mother who said to keep him and that she would help me raise him.  My mother was also a teenage parent starting with me and a year later came my one of two brothers.  Now you are probably thinking that my mother why didn't she teach me not to become a teenage parent?   I am assuming that and I was right, that she did not know how.  She wanted to do my best with my life but she did not know to explain to me how to go about living life.  Growing up with 3 younger siblings I saw the struggles that my mother went through, and in my head I knew that I was not willing to do some of things that she.  I knew in my head that if I was ...

Coming this Month in September!

Lord have mercy, we are in another month for the year 2015.  If some of y'all like me and you saying this year is flying by . . .for some of us this a good while for others it may not. For a lot of parents this is a good thing because it is the start of another school for their children who are going back to school or have already started school.  Who is doing the dance of joy on this one?  If you don't have little ones still at home, this means peace and quiet for you at home until 3 p.m. For other parents it means fewer less children. ( Geçmiş olsun!)  But it also brings all the after school programs, those parent-teacher conferences that many parents dread, and those Fridays' night games. For all you new college students, for the first month you will be stupid to things but after that you will be okay.  For all you second year students who did not learn anything in your first year, then consider yourself still stupid!  For you third ye...

The Istanbul Chronicles: Moving Stuff

Here is another one of Glenna and I adventures. When Glenna and I were getting to know each other, I knew that she lived in an area call Maltepe. To be actual she lived on Methap Sok., Mercan #7  Apt. 4, Adatepe.   It was quite some ways from me being 45 minutes by a mini-bus (I live those things).  I had often visited her at her at her apartment as she had often visited our apartment, especially for coffee. In Glenna's apartment, she had a lot of nice big real wood furniture that I would have loved to own and I am still mad to this day that we were not able to remove majority them away from Edward. While she was there in their apartment, Glenna by herself was trying to move those pieces around because of how big furniture was they were not moving for her. (Glenna is a tiny woman, I tell you.) She said she had been asking Edward to get some help in moving some of the furniture down stair into the storage assigned storage unit.  But talking to Edward was like ta...
